Related services should be grouped together on the UI to make them easier to manage and visualize together.

This is exactly what we're working on. Merging with the in-progress feature.

Group apps by project
J
Joaquim Ley
I've started migrating my infra to Render and since we are an agency we'll have a lot of apps running (some of these with multiple web services).
It would be great to group apps by project where everything would be organised (api, frontend, X-service, etc.) all "inside" a folder on the GUI.

I think this is supported by "teams" on render, we have a couple of "teams" which we use to organise the apps exactly as you describe. It's true that the purpose of teams is slightly different, but until this functionality is implemented, you can use teams I think.

Sergiu Truta: that's a good idea/workaround.
Thank you for the tip.

Group services by app/scope

The dashboard is getting crowded with a web app having other private and public dependecies.
We also recreate the same setup for staging and playground. The only way we can now distinguish pertinent services is e.g. by prefixing the name with staging-
or playground-
. It would be nice to be able to group services by app/scope/namespace.
Also that could be extended to have a consolidated log per app (akin to Heroku log by app with the info from all its dynos).

I was also trying to similar thing in Render, creating new service for each environment but it was quite difficult to manage since all services was under one roof.
Getting this visual pipeline deployment system will be a lot more helpful.

Having an option to group services using label would help a lot.
