We're thrilled to share that Point-in-time Recovery (PITR) is now in Early Access. You can try it out on new databases if you enable the feature in Early Access, which you can find in account settings.
We'll make it possible to turn on PITR for existing databases soon.
More information on the feature in our docs here: https://render.com/docs/databases#point-in-time-recovery

I've been checking in on Render every couple of weeks for quite some time to find out if there has been an update on this, would love to know an estimate for when it might be worked on or ready to use.
I know it had been said to be ready early this year (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28861509)

Agree this such a killer feature on heroku that working without it now feel like sitting on a ticking bomb

This is one of those fetures that if you have every had to use it you cant live without it. I'm currently on Heroku and its the one blocking feature that is stopping me from moving over. I hope I would never have to use it but need it to be there just in case we screwup!
