Datadog has nice database monitoring tools - i would love to be able to use them with Render since the metrics on site are pretty slim as of now.

+1 to this. Would love the tight knit integration with postgres that datadog offers. Side note: there's a heroku buildpack for datadog. Could see the same for render.
