I’d like to request a South Africa deployment region, ideally Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Render is a great platform, but for South African applications the closest practical regions are still far away. This creates unnecessary latency for users, especially for apps with server-rendered pages, APIs, authentication flows, dashboards, and database-backed interactions.

A South Africa region would be valuable for:

Lower latency for South African users

Better performance for SaaS apps, dashboards, and APIs

Improved local hosting options for startups and agencies

Easier compliance conversations with South African clients who prefer regional hosting

Better competitiveness against cloud providers that already offer local infrastructure

There is a growing developer and startup market in South Africa, and Render’s simplicity would be a strong fit here if local hosting were available.

Please consider adding South Africa as a supported Render region.
