Thank you very much for your wonderful service. We truly admire the quality and usability of your platform and are very eager to adopt it for our projects.
We are currently planning to consolidate multiple projects onto a unified platform, and Render is our top choice. However, the lack of a Tokyo region raises concerns about response times for our users, which unfortunately prevents us from moving forward at this time.
We sincerely appreciate your excellent work and fully understand that this is a significant request. That said, we would be extremely grateful if support for the Tokyo region could be made available as soon as possible. We are truly looking forward to using Render in the near future.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Do you have a plan for this? We’re increasingly using Turso in our projects instead of Postgres. Turso internally relies on S3 Express, which has limited region availability — most notably, it has Tokyo but lacks Singapore region.
https://turso.tech/
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/s3-express-Endpoints.html
We’ve decided to use SQLite/LibSQL/Limbo for most smaller-scale apps, eliminating the need for Docker on dev machines. This is part of our effort to enable non-tech employees to maintain projects, as Postgres was the only reason we needed Docker.
Having the database closer to compute is more important than compute-to-user proximity. In our case, that means choosing between Render’s Tokyo region or an S3 Express Singapore region. And I believe Render is more responsive to these kinds of requests than AWS. :)

This has been marked planned since 2021, last update in 2022. Anurag Goel is it safe to say this isn't happening?

There’s absolutely no rush, but I was wondering if the Tokyo region is already on the roadmap or currently in progress?

Anurag Goel: When do you plan to add the Tokyo region?
Two years have passed since I heard that it would be added in 2022.
I don't mean to rush you, but I'd like to know the real schedule.
