We host our team/org repos on Bitbucket due to the friendlier pricing (free) tier for small teams.
GitHub is an added expense, which while small adds to overall overhead of using render to host.

No bitbucket support (and no custom container registry support), won't try your solution. Looked great and loved the iac part, that's sad.

NC: If your image is public, you can run it on Render regardless of the container registry you use. WRT BitBucket, thanks for lettings us know more about your choice of git provider. It's helpful for us as we're evaluating options to grow our userbase.

Unfortunately, leaving deployment facilities to just two options is plain restrictive. Not only should there be Bitbucket, of course, but also self hosted Gitea.
