I can use Docker to run Scala apps but it would be great to have native support for it in Render.

Scala and plain Java - though once you have support for one, everything JVM-based becomes easy :)
I can see managing the buildchain will be an interesting topic, with different versions of Maven/SBT and the JRE/JDK itself (openjdk or..?)
Any updates on this from Render, as it has been _unnder review_ for some time now?
