Python apps can use Python 3.8
complete
Dan Wendorf
Some apps require Python 3.8, and the only way to deploy a Python 3.8 app on Render right now is to use a Docker image. It would be nice to use the built-in Python support so we don't have to build our own images.

We now support specifying a custom Python version (including 3.8) by setting the
PYTHON_VERSION
environment variable, more details can be found in our docs: https://render.com/docs/python-versionPlease reach out to support@render.com if you encounter any issues deploying a supported Python version.
