We are also interested in this. Some features that would be nice have:
- Ability to bust cache of services
- Manage services in the same kind of format as via the YAML files
- Manage env vars & env var groups
- Manage custom domains

One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is the ability to trigger cron jobs via an API. This is something you can do via lambdas on AWS, and it's a feature that prevents us from defaulting to Render for crons right now. Hope it can be included in the API! 🙏🏿🙏🏿

Can you also consider adding APIs for metrics?
I previously used DO and they don't have metrics API and it was time consuming to open DO dashboard every time.

Anurag Goel: great to hear from you! It's been too long since we last chatted. Doppler currently uses Heroku's APIs to sync the env vars on Doppler with a Heroku app in realtime. It has been wildly successful and a fair amount of our customers have asked to do the same on Render. We would love to make that happen if there was an API to use like the other infra providers have.
