Turn off previews for specific PRs
planned

Some PRs don't need a preview. It'd be nice if I could indicate this by putting something like
[skip preview]
or [preview skip]
in the PR title or description.Log In

Preview environments for applications are good as long as you can ignore specific branches/labels and/or text in the PR title.
With dependabot active in bigger node repos, you will often have multiple open PRs that spin up a new environment.
This is a big +1 from my side

Hi Anurag Goel,
Is there an update on this at the moment?
or perhaps an alternative way to ignore certain PRs from being deployed?

Allow ignoring branches for Review Apps

We use depfu.com for keeping out codebase up to date. It creates pull requests for each change.
We don't want these to be created as review apps.
One way to do this is for us to have a setting in which we add a comment to the PR, asking Render to setup a review app for that pull request.

Re: message from jade, I know that terraform cloud adds a bunch of gitlab CI/github action junk to your PRs, and allowing us to trigger PR previews as a manual action on PRs would be a huge improvement to this feature. That seems like a large ask but it's definitely my gold standard.

Similarly, be able to enable/disable PR previews for specific branches.

We definitely need this one! Our draft PRs are just burning money.

Got loads of automatic PRs from dependabot etc, will get pricey very quickly to turn it on

This is an essential part of the PR Preview workflow for me. I don't want to trigger a whole environment when working on documentation for example. ^^
Here is how Vercel does it : https://vercel.com/knowledge/how-do-i-use-the-ignored-build-step-field-on-vercel
